Treasured Tuna Pasta Salad
- 1 lb rotini pasta (16 oz.)
- 1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos, diced
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped (5-6)
- 1 (12 ounce) can light chunk tuna in water, drained
- 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
- 8 dill pickle slices, chopped
- 1 14 cups Hellmanns Mayonnaise (or to liking)
- 12 teaspoon Accent seasoning
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
- Cook the pasta in boiling water; al-dente.
- Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Let the pasta cool while you prepare the rest of the salad.
- Mix the pimentos, onions, tuna, celery, and dill pickles together in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the cooled pasta.
- Mix the real mayonnaise and seasonings in a seperate bowl.
- Pour the mayo over the salad and stir the salad well.
- Chill until ready to serve.
