Large Whole Wheat Loaf

  1. Mix together the flour, wheat gluten and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the warm water into a bread machine or mixing bowl of a mixer with a dough hook.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  4. Dissolve the honey in yeast mixture.
  5. Add flour.
  6. Knead with a dough hook for 4 to 6 minutes or follow your bread machine's instructions and skip steps 6-8.
  7. Place dough in a metal bowl and cover with a cloth for 1 hour or until doubled.
  8. Form into a loaf and place in a large loaf pan or two small loaf pans and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in 375F oven for 30 - 40 minutes until your loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the top.
  10. Let cool and enjoy.
