Lori's Salisbury Beef

  1. Heat oven 350.
  2. Dredge beef in flour to coat.
  3. Shake off excess.
  4. Heat oil and butter in a dutch oven.
  5. Brown beef in batches, setting all aside.
  6. To pan add onion.
  7. Saute 2 minutes.
  8. Add mushrooms.
  9. Saute 5 minutes.
  10. Return beef and accumulated juices.
  11. Combine the broth, paste, seasoning, mustard and paprika.
  12. Stir into meat.
  13. Cover.
  14. Bake 2 hours, stirring often and added more broth if needed.
