Venison Jerky Recipe
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon hickory smoke
- 1 teaspoon ginger pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tbsp. lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 7 lbs. thinly sliced meat or possibly 1 gal. ice cream pail full
- Mix all above ingredients together except 1/2 of the lemon pepper.
- Mix well and let it marinate overnight.
- When you are ready to cook, add in rest of lemon pepper and mix well.
- Skewer meat on toothpicks and hang directly on oven rack.
- Cook for about 5 hrs at temperature, 175 or possibly 200 degrees, depending on your oven, some are hotter then others.
