Moist n Chewy Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C)
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Whisk in eggs, one at a time, beating lightly after each addition.
  6. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  7. Stir into chocolate mixture until well blended.
  8. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
  9. Bake in preheated oven just until set, 25 to 30 minutes.
  10. Let cool completely in pan on rack.
  11. Cut into bars.
