Ham and Red Cabbage Salad

  1. Cut up the vegetables.
  2. Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Slice the red cabbage about 5 mm thick.
  4. (You can use regular cabbage instead.
  5. I use red cabbage for color.)
  6. Slice the lemon thinly and quarter.
  7. Slice the onion and carrot thinly.
  8. (A vegetable slicer is handy.)
  9. If the onion is very strong, soak it in water for a while.
  10. Drain the onion well.
  11. Toss together.
  12. Swirl the olive oil over, and add salt and pepper.
  13. Krazy Salt is good too!
  14. Mix it all up and it's done.
