Mai Tai

  1. Pour all the liquid ingredients into a mixing glass.
  2. Add large cold ice cubes and shake vigorously for 7 or 8 seconds.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over large cold ice cubes.
  4. Garnish with the mint sprig and lime wheel.
  5. Dominant Flavors: aged rum and almond with fresh mint on the nose
  6. Body: medium with rich mouthfeel
  7. Dryness: medium to off-dry
  8. Complexity: medium to off-dry
  9. Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: citrus, bitter orange peel
  10. Finish: medium, bittersweet with light oak and fruit overtones
  11. Glass: rocks
