Student noodle casserole
- 1 bunch spaghetti
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 slice bacon
- 1 slice tomato, diced
- 8 baby spinach
- 1/3 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- Disclaimer: this is far from fancy.
- Substitute anything and everything, and just eyeball measure the ingredients...thats what i do :)
- Start boiling the spaghetti and put the bacon in a pan at med-low heat.
- Chop up onions, tomato, spinach, and shred cheese
- Dump the panko in a bowl and put in seasoning salt and pepper to taste with a little shredded cheese (or parmesan)
- Put the onions in the pan when the bacon is almost done and let them cook together.
- When the bacon is done take it out, chop it, and toss it back in with the onions and the other veggies.
- The tomato and spinach just need to wilt a little bit.
- Drain the spaghetti and mix it up with some Alfredo sauce.
- I used the classico brand which tasted really bland, so i mixed in the rest of the cheese and a little hot mustard.
- Do whatever tastes good.
- Dump everything in a casserole pan and mix it up.
- Add frozen peas till it looks like enough, and level it all out.
- Spread the panko mix on top and stick it in the oven at 350F.
- It depends how close to the element the pan is, but panko browns Really Fast!
- Probably 5-7 minutes so keep an eye on it.
- Pop it out and eat it!
- Made about four servings worth for me.
