Cheesy Meaty Squares

  1. Add oil to pan, Sautee ground meat until browned and cooked through.
  2. I like to use a potatoe masher to make into fine crumbles.
  3. Remove meat to bowl with slotted spoon.
  4. Leaving oil.
  5. Then remove Italian sausage meat from casing and add to same pan.
  6. Break up meat and cook through.
  7. Use the masher as well to make into fine crumbles.
  8. Add to same bowl as ground beef leaving oil.
  9. Add onions and Sautee until translucent.
  10. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  11. Remove with slotted spoon and add to bowl with meat.
  12. To a large pot add meat and onion mix with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes and cubed Velveeta cheese log.
  13. Mix until cheese is melted and incorporated into meat mix.
  14. Set oven to 375F.
  15. Spoon meat mix onto each slice of cocktail bread and place onto cookie sheet.
  16. You can choose how much meat mix.
  17. I like to add plenty bc it's soooo good!
  18. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until top is golden brown and bread is lightly toasted.
  19. Serve as an appetizer and watch it become a party favorite!!
