Spaghetti Bolognaisse from scratch 673 cals if following or equivalent used
- 100 grams Minced beef I used Aldi Premium Lean Steak Mince 191 cals
- 30 grams Bacon bits/pancetta/bacon lardons or bacon cut up. your choice. i used lardons 77 cals
- 43 grams onion, chopped i used red 18 cals
- 100 grams mushrooms i used tesco lancashire baby button 13 cals
- 75 grams spaghetti your choice i used cook italian 270 cals
- 4 grams raw chopped garlic 6 cals
- 20 grams double concentrate tomato puree i used aldi cucina 16 cals
- 3 grams cornflour 11 cals
- 1/4 tsp onion granules/ powder
- 195 grams pasatta i used aldi cucina 48 cals
- 1/2 tsp oil your choice. i used toasted sesame oil 23 cals
- In a jug weigh the following and mix so smooth.
- Put the spaghetti on as per instructions
- In a wok or frying pan, add the oil, then when heated add the mince & lardons & brown.
- When brown add the mushrooms, onion & chopped garlic & fry until cooked.
- When the mushrooms are nearly cooked pour in the tomato mix & put on low to heat through & cook until mushrooms & spaghetti are cooked.
- Drain spaghetti & put onto a plate, pour bolognaisse over & enjoy.
- Can add grated cheese if preferred.
