Great Grandmother's Corn Light Bread Recipe

  1. Scald meal with boiling water.
  2. Add in sufficient boiling water to make a stiff mush.
  3. Add in sorghum syrup and salt to taste.
  4. Set in hot place till it ferments, from 12 to 15 hrs.
  5. Add in the egg.
  6. Put into greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hrs.
