Pan-Seared Duck with Blueberry Sauce

  1. Cook first 4 ingredients in small saucepan on medium-high heat 13 to 15 min.
  2. or until thickened to syrup-like consistency, stirring frequently.
  3. Meanwhile, use sharp knife to make 1/4-inch-deep parallel cuts, about 3/4 inch apart, in top surface of each breast.
  4. Make additional scores at right angles to form diamond shapes.
  5. Heat large skillet on medium heat.
  6. Add duck, skin-sides down; cook 9 min.
  7. or until skin is crisp and golden brown.
  8. Turn over; cook 5 min.
  9. or until done (170F).
  10. Transfer duck to cutting board; let stand 5 min.
  11. Slice duck; serve with blueberry sauce.
