Mom's Caramel Popcorn

  1. Preheat oven to 250F.
  2. Boil sugar, margarine, syrup, and cream of tartar for 7 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Make sure the mixture stays at a constant boil for 7 minutes.
  4. Put popcorn in large roaster, sprayed with cooking spray.
  5. Pour syrup over popcorn and stir.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes at 250F.
  7. MAKE SURE YOU STIR EVERY 15 MINUTES.
