Beefy Mushroom Skillet
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope Lipton beefy onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- 2 dashes maggi seasoning
- 12 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups egg noodles
- To make gravy:.
- Combine Beefy Onion Soup, flour in a medium sauce pan.
- Set on high heat.
- Slowly stir in water.
- Add wine, Maggi Seasoning and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Then, reduce heat to medium, stirring frequently.
- Stir 5-6 minutes or until gravy is thickened.
- Cook noodles according to package directions and drain well.
- Brown ground beef in skillet.
- Drain grease.
- Add mushrooms and saute for about 3 minutes.
- Add gravy to beef, stir, then add noodles and mix well.
- Cook in skillet about 3-5 minutes.
