Chocolate-Almond Truffle Bites

  1. Line 8-inch square pan with foil, with foil extending over side of pan.
  2. Combine wafer crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of prepared pan.
  3. Place caramels and water in medium microwaveable bowl; microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 min.
  4. or until caramels are melted, stirring after each minute.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Spoon over crust.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  8. Microwave chocolate in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1-1/2 min.
  9. or until almost melted, stirring every 30 sec.
  10. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  11. Stir in COOL WHIP.
  12. Spread over caramel mixture in pan.
  13. Refrigerate 1 hour.
