Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce
- 6 tablespoons apricot preserves (jam) or apple jelly
- 3 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce, tamari
- 18 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 x salt to taste
- Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Allow to rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the flavors to mingle.
- Serve as a dipping sauce with chicken fingers or chicken nuggets.
- Can be doubled to make a larger amount.
- Will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for a week or more.
