Baked Brie With Figs And Herbs Recipe
- 2 ounce dry figs, preferably Calmyrna, coarsely sliced, about 1/3 c.
- 1/4 c. minced fresh mint
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 pkt (15 ounces) whole Brie cheese Assorted Crackers
- Preheat oven to 425.
- In bowl combine first 5 ingredients.
- With serrated knife cut Brie in half horizontally; place bottom half on large sheet of foil.
- Press half of fig mix onto bottom half of cheese; cover with top half of cheese.
- Press remaining fig mix onto top of cheese.
- Bring edges of foil up around cheese; wrap.
- Bake on oven rack till hot, 5-10 min.
- Let stand 5 min.
- Unwrap; transfer to serving platter.
- Serve with crackers.
- 8 servings
