Quick and Easy Baked Ziti

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Boil noodles until al dente (or preferred done-ness), according to package instructions.
  3. Brown ground beef with the minced onion, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder until the beef is done (seasoning amounts are approximate, I tend to just sprinkle the spices over the top of the meat until lightly covered its just how I roll).
  4. While meat is cooking and noodles are boiling, slice (or shred, your preference) mozzarella cheese into semi-consistent size and thickness, no more than 1/8 inch thick.
  5. In a 9x13 baking dish or pan, combine noodles, cooked meat and the sauce stir until combined.
  6. Top with cheese (I lay the slices side by side to cover the whole thing), and bake about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve with bread and salad and watch it get devoured!
  8. !
  9. **Substitution: If you cant find a block of mozzarella, you can use 2 bags of the 2 cup/8-ounce shredded kind).
  10. (This dish is consistently requested by my entire family any time we have a get together and it never fails to please.
  11. If you have any leftovers, they taste even more delicious the next day!)
