Almond Butter Cutouts Recipe

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in egg yolks and extract.
  3. Combine flour, salt and baking pwdr; gradually add in to creamed mix.
  4. Stir in almonds.
  5. Cover and refrigerateat least 2 hrs.
  6. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 3/8-inch thickness.
  7. Cut with cookiecutters; place on ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Sprinkle with sugar if you like.
  9. Bake at 375 for 10-13 min or possibly till the edges begin to brown.
  10. Cold on wire racks.
  11. Frost if you like.
