BUTTERED NOODLES WITH PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1/3 box linquini noodles
- 4 cup broth or water
- 1 dash olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp butter... i used the HERBAL BUTTER that is on my profile.
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 5 green onion cut in 3-4" peices
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- Boil broth or water.
- add salt to water.. bring broth to a boil and add pasta.
- put a splash of olive oil in with noodles to prevent it from boiling over.
- boil until al dente..
- drain pasta in a colindar.
- rinse with cold water and set aside.
- the cold water stops the cooking process.
- melt butter in skillet.
- throw in green onion and garlic...
- saute for only 2 minutes.
- stir noodles in butter..
- put in serving dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.. u can add more cheese if you like..
- I use this as a side dish...
