Applesauce White Chip Chocolate Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. In large mixer bowl, add applesauce, butter, oil, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Add into liquid mixture, stirring until just incorporated and moistened.
  6. Stir in white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes.
  9. Cool on pan on wire rack for a few minutes.
  10. Remove cookies to wire rack.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
