Perfect Prosciutto Pasta
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmsan cheese
- 3/4 to 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 packages (16 ounces) linguine
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced deli ham or proscuitto, chopped
- Cook linguine according to package directions.
- Add peas during the last 3 minutes.
- In the meantime, in a large skillet, saute the garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper in oil for 1 minute or until garlic is tender.
- Stir in proscuitto or deli ham.
- Drain linguine; add to skillet and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
