Broccoli Rice Casserole Recipe
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, divided
- 2 c. Warm cooked Minute Preium Long Grain Rice
- 1 can Condensed cream of mushroom soup, (10 3/4 ounces)
- 1 pkt Frzn minced broccoli (10 ounces), cooked and liquid removed
- 1 jar Cheez Whiz pasteurized process cheese, (8 ounces)
- 1/2 c. Fresh bread cubes
- COOK AND STIR onion in 1 Tbsp.
- butter in large skillet over medium heat till tender Add in rice, soup, broccoli and Cheez Whiz; stir
- SPOON into 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
- Heat remaining 1 Tbsp.
- butter and toss with bread cubes; sprinkle over casserole.
- BAKE at 350 F for 30 to 35 min or possibly till thoroughly heated.
- Makes 4 to 6servings
- To Make Ahead: Prepare as directed except for baking; cover.
- Chill overnight.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 F for 50 to 55 min or possibly till thoroughly heated.
