Decadent Pork Banh Mi

  1. Pickled Vegetables: In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Drain.
  5. Sandwich: On a work surface, cut off the ends of the baguettes and slice each baguette in half.
  6. Cut each piece in half lengthwise.
  7. Butter inside the bread and cover one side with the liver pate and the other side with the mayonnaise.
  8. Garnish with slices of pork roast, pickled vegetables, cilantro, and chilies, if desired.
