THE Best Jalapeno Popper Ever!!

  1. Slice peppers in half lengthwise.
  2. remove seeds and membrane, or leave some in for more heat.
  3. A spoon works well.
  4. slice block of cream cheese in half lengthwise, slice into pats.
  5. Form each pat into a football and place inside pepper half.
  6. This method works better than smearing IMO.
  7. cut package of bacon in half, wrap each popper with 1/2 piece of bacon.
  8. grill over indirect heat, direct heat they will burn easily.
  9. These can also go in the oven, 325 about an hour.
  10. the last few minutes of cooking brush with your favorite sweet barbecue sauce (optional).
  11. I like the pepper to cook down also, not crunchy green.
  12. Seems the longer they cook the better they are, especially when cooking low and slow.
  13. 1 hour cook time typical.
  14. SOOO WORTH THE WAIT!
