Cranberry Wild Rice

  1. Saute onion in butter in 10 inch skillet until tender, but not brown.
  2. Break up cranberry w/ fork in seperate bowl & add enough water to make 5 1/2 cups.
  3. Add cranberry mixture, rice, and your choice of seasonings to skillet & stir.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Cover tightly and cook over low heat until all liquid is absorbed (about 25 minutes).
  6. Stir in celery and serve!
