bistek gisado
- 2 lb thinly sliced beef
- 4 thinly sliced tomato
- 1/2 thinly sliced onion
- 3 thinly sliced jalapenos
- 1 hand full fresh cilantro
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 salt to taste
- 1/4 cup oil
- 8 oz water
- in large fry pan heat oil and add beef, cook until it is completely browned and starts getting crispy in spots.
- add all veggies and mix in with beef, cook about 5 minutes then add tomato sauce, water and salt to taste.
- simmer for about 10 minutes on med-low heat stirring occasionally.
