Fool Proof Breadsticks

  1. Dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Add sugar, salt, 2 3/4 cups flour and mix well.
  3. Add in remaining 1 cup flour and mix again.
  4. Knead.
  5. Let rise til double in size (~2 hrs).
  6. Punch down and roll out to roughly the size of a cookie sheet.
  7. Melt butter and pour half onto a cookie sheet--tilt to evenly cover.
  8. Place rolled out dough onto buttered sheet.
  9. Cut dough into strips with a pizza cutter.
  10. Pour remaining melted butter over dough and spread evenly.
  11. Sprinkle dough with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese and/or "salad supreme."
  12. Let rise ~1 hour.
  13. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
