Garam Masala

  1. Roast all the ingredients very lightly on a griddle (without any oil/ghee).
  2. Cool.
  3. Grind to a powder in a grinder.
  4. If coarse, strain through a sieve and discard any stubborn husk.
  5. Store in an airtight container and use as and when required.
