Smoky Barbecue Beans
- 2 (15 ounce) cans low-sodium pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can low-sodium black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 12 cup ketchup
- 14 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 12 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 pinch cayenne
- 3 slices turkey bacon, cooked until crisp
- Combine everything in a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook until onion is fork tender, 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low.
