Mexican Black Beans Recipe kchurchill5

  1. In a medium saute pan with olive oil on medium, saute onion and garlic, then add the beans, DO drain or rinse, add the cumin, chili powder, any salt and pepper to your taste.
  2. Let it cook 15-30 minutes on low.
  3. I just let it cook while I am making the rest of my dinner.
  4. It is fine all by itself.
  5. Before serving, stir in the cilantro and a squeeze of lime if you have it.
  6. It is not necessary, I just like it.
  7. Optional.
  8. I serve this over any white rice (your favorite).
