Basmati Rice With Galangal Recipe

  1. Place the rice in a pan, cover the rice with water and bring to the boil.
  2. Add in 3 pcs of roughly minced galangal and the salt to the rice.
  3. Cook the rice according to the pack instructions.
  4. When the rice is cooked, run under warm water and then under cool water to refresh the rice.
  5. Remove the galangal, place the rice into a clean bowl and add in the remaining ingredients and add in seasoning to taste.
  6. Grate the remaining pcs of galangal and squeeze the juice over the rice.
  7. NOTES : A fragrant rice dish, delicious served with spicy Thai dishes.
