Pickled Bell Peppers Recipe
- 2 pts. cider vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
- 3 pts. bell peppers
- 2 c. sugar
- Sm. garlic
- 2-4 sm. warm peppers to each jar
- Cut peppers in halves and remove seeds.
- Cover with boiling water and let stand 10 min; drain.
- Cover again with boiling water and let come to a boil; let stand 10 min; drain.
- Scald jars.
- Fill warm jars with peppers and at bottom of each put 2 thin slices of garlic and 2 warm peppers.
- Boil vinegar, sugar, salt and water and pour over peppers in jars.
- Seal.
