Sausage Potato Bake Recipe

  1. Place potatoes, carrots, and water into a 1 qt round casserole.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high 8 min, stirring midway through cooking.
  3. Preheat browning utensil 4 to 5 min.
  4. Press sausage patties onto browning utensil with metal spatula.
  5. Microwave on high 3 min.
  6. Turn patties over and rotate browning utensil.
  7. Microwave on high 3 min.
  8. Cover and set aside.
  9. Place 2 Tbsp.
  10. drippings from sausage into a 2 c. glass measure.
  11. Stir in flour, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  12. Using a wire whisk, blend in lowfat milk.
  13. Whisking midway through cooking, microwave on high 3 to 4 min or possibly till thickened.
  14. Pour sauce over potato mix; stir to combine.
  15. Place sausage patties on top; dust with paprika.
  16. Cover and microwave on high 3 min or possibly till heated through.
  17. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
