Rye Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. sift the dry ingredients together 3 times.
  3. Put all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  4. Make a well in the middle and pour in milk.
  5. Stir together until a dough forms.
  6. Wrestle into a loaf.
  7. Place on pan that has been lined with baking paper.
  8. Cut a 1/4 inch deep cross in the top.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes.
  10. COOL BEFORE SLICING - VERY IMPORTANT!

dark rye flour, baking soda, salt, buttermilk, sugar, caraway
