Potato & Beet Salad

  1. Boil the whole beets for 30-60 minutes.
  2. Let them cool and then peel the skins.
  3. Chop into pieces and drizzle with wine vinegar.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Boil the potatoes whole and then peel the skin and chop.
  6. Soak the onion in water and then slice thinly.
  7. Place the onion on top of the potatoes while still warm to soften them.
  8. Add the boiled egg and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Combine the equal amounts of mayonnaise and sour cream and then mix with the salad.
