Chicken And Sausage Sauce Piquant Recipe
- 1 chicken, cut in pcs
- 1 pound sausage
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 bell pepper, minced
- Parsley
- 3 tbsp. Lea & Perrin's
- 3 tbsp. Louisiana warm sauce
- 3/4 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 cooking spoon sugar
- Water
- Season to taste
- Brown chicken and sausage, drain grease.
- Cook onions, bell peppers, parsley, and garlic.
- Add in tomato paste, tomato sauce, Lea & Perrin's warm sauce and barbecue sauce and all remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 30 min.
- Add in chicken and sausage and water to cover 1/2 inch over chicken and sausage.
- Simmer for 30 min.
- Add in sugar and simmer for 1 hour.
- Serve over rice.
