Buffalo Chickpea Burgers

  2. In a bowl, mash the chickpeas using a fork or potato masher.
  3. Make sure to mash them well my husband didnt like the chunks of chickpeas.

  5. Add the remainder of ingredients (except the hamburger rolls) and mix well.

  7. Heat a skillet to medium heat.
  8. Form 4 6 patties and place in skillet.
  9. Cook for about 6 minutes per side, until crispy and golden brown.
  10. Then place on a hamburger roll and top with whatever you like.
  11. Note: One thing the original recipe did that I might try next time is to grate the onion.
  12. I choose to chop finely instead.
  13. Well, relatively fine.
  14. Chopping and I have issues.
  15. According to my husband, these are best hot and not as leftovers.
