Pork Belly and Bok Choy Stir-fry in Thickened Sauce
- 180 grams Thinly sliced pork belly
- 2 head Bok choy
- 1/2 Carrot
- 1/2 Scallion
- 1/2 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 1/2 tsp Chicken stock granules
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Katakuriko
- 1 dash Pepper
- 150 ml Water
- Finely chop the scallion and garlic.
- Cut bok choy and pork belly into bite size pieces.
- Slice the carrot into rectangles.
- Mix ingredients for the salty sauce.
- Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and stir fry the scallion and garlic.
- When it's aromatic, add pork.
- Add bok choy and carrot in the pan, and stir fry.
- When cooked, stir in the salty sauce and cook until thickened.
- You can make stir fried noodles using this recipe.
- I added bean sprouts and increased the flavour of the sauce.
