Sausage Cheese Balls
- 2- 1/2 cups Unbleached All-purpose Flour
- 18 cups Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 whole 8 Ounce Brick Of Cheddar Cheese, Grated
- 2 pounds Seasoned Ground Pork Sausage
- Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
- Preheat a griddle on the stovetop to 400-425 degrees.
- In a large bowl add the grated cheese to the pork sausage and mix by hand.
- Next add the flour mixture and mix in by hand until completely incorporated.
- Roll the mixture into small bite sized balls and place on hot griddle and brown on all sides (about 10 minutes or so) or in a large pan over medium to medium high heat.
- Once fully cooked, remove to a paper towel lined baking sheet or plate to cool.
- This recipe makes a lot!
- Spice it up with some chopped jalapenos or red pepper flakes!
