Pears Baked in Grappa

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Peel, quarter and core the pears.
  3. Place them in a buttered baking dish and sprinkle with sugar and grappa.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until tender, depending on the ripeness of the pears.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate and serve with creme fraiche.
