Spiced Pecans
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 18 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 4 teaspoons neutral oil
- 2 cups pecans
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together salt, sugar, cumin and cayenne.
- Stir in oil to make a smooth mixture.
- Toss pecans with seasonings to coat.
- Arrange on cookie sheet in single layer.
- Toast 8 to 10 minutes, until they take on a little color.
- Cool, and serve.
- (They will keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for a week.)
