Tomato Fan
- 1 whole Large Tomato
- 2 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Cut Into Strips Or Rounds
- 4 leaves Fresh Basil
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 dashes Balsamic Vinegar, More Or Less As Desired
- Wash and dry the tomato.
- Using a knife cut the tomato lengthwise with cuts about 1/4 inch apart; stop about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the tomato.
- Place a strip of mozzarella in between the cuts of the tomato and follow with the basil leaves.
- Do this until tomato is completed.
- Salt and pepper to taste and top with a couple of dashes of balsamic vinegar.
