No Oil! The Ultimate Kabocha and Okara Cake

  1. Cook the kabocha in a steamer or microwave until tender, then remove the seeds and skin.
  2. Put all the ingredients into a food processor or mixer and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into a cake mold, and bake for 30-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 360C/180C.
  4. Allow it to cool completely before removing it from the mold.
  5. Then, it's ready to serve!
  6. Here's the Halloween version!
  7. I added some cubed processed cheese to the batter.
