Boneless Birds - Beef Roulade

  1. Cut fat off of round steak.
  2. Cut into approx.
  3. 2" x 4" strips and tenderize with meat mallot (to make large and thin).
  4. Top each piece of steak with 1/2 slice bacon, 1 piece of onion and 1 piece of dill pickle (each 2 to 3" long).
  5. Roll up steak and fasten roll with toothpick.
  6. Roll in flour.
  7. Brown on stove in minimal amount of oil.
  8. Pour in water, cover and cook on stove until done.
  9. Season sauce with salt and pepper.
  10. Serve with noodles, rice or potatos.
