Hot Swiss and Almond Spread

  1. Mix all ingredients except crackers until well blended.
  2. Spread mixture into 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish.
  3. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes.
  4. Garnish with additional toasted almonds, if desired.
  5. Serve with assorted crackers or toasted bread cut-outs.
  6. Microwave: Prepare as directed except for baking.
  7. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) 6 minutes or until Swiss cheese is melted and mixture is warm, stirring after 4 minutes.
  8. (Do not overcook.)
  9. Stir before serving.
  10. Garnish with additional toasted sliced almonds, if desired.
  11. Serve with assorted crackers or party rye bread slices.
