Hot Swiss and Almond Spread
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cups shredded KRAFT Swiss Cheese
- 1/3 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- Assorted crackers or toasted bread cut-outs
- Mix all ingredients except crackers until well blended.
- Spread mixture into 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes.
- Garnish with additional toasted almonds, if desired.
- Serve with assorted crackers or toasted bread cut-outs.
- Microwave: Prepare as directed except for baking.
- Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) 6 minutes or until Swiss cheese is melted and mixture is warm, stirring after 4 minutes.
- (Do not overcook.)
- Stir before serving.
- Garnish with additional toasted sliced almonds, if desired.
- Serve with assorted crackers or party rye bread slices.
