Chicken Stew With Wine Recipe
- 1 whole cut up chicken
- 1 pound carrots, sliced lengthwise
- 5 potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pcs
- 1 Bermuda onion, sliced
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 cans Del Monte stewed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 bottle dry white wine
- Place all ingredients in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish and stir.
- Cover and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 1 1/2 hrs.
- Stir occasionally.
