Crunchy Nut Mince Pie Recipe

  1. Reserve 1/3 c. pastry mix, firmly packed, or possibly 2/3 pie crust stick for topping.
  2. Prepare remaining mix adding 3 Tbsp.
  3. water.
  4. Roll pastry 1 inch larger than inverted 9 inch pie pan.
  5. Fit into pan.
  6. Fold edge of crust under and seal.
  7. flute.
  8. Spoon mincemeat into pie pan.
  9. Crumble reserved topping; combine with coconut, brown sugar, pecans and butter.
  10. Sprinkle over filling.
  11. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 min or possibly till crust is golden.
  12. Yield: 4-6 servings.
