Mike's Granola
- 1 13 cups water
- 13 cup canola oil
- 12 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 8 cups rolled oats
- 14 cup oat bran
- 14 cup millet
- 14 cup sunflower seeds
- 14 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup almonds, chopped
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 12 cups raisins
- Preheat oven to 300.
- Mix together the water, oil, maple syrup and vanilla in a bowl.
- Set aside.
- In a large soup pot, mix together the remaining ingredients except for the raisins.
- Pour the water mixture into the soup pot.
- Cook on the stove top on medium to medium low heat, constantly mixing, for about 5 minutes.
- When the mixture starts to form gluey clumps remove from stove.
- Spread out mixture on two cookie sheets very lightly sprayed with oil.
- Cook for 60 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the granola is dry and lightly golden in color.
- Remove from oven;allow to cool.
- Mix in raisins.
