Grilled Salmon with Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 Shallot, Peeled And Minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 piece (1 Inch Size) Ginger, Grated
- 13 cups Soy Sauce
- 2- 1/2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Mirin
- 1 Tablespoon Molassas
- 1/2 whole Lime Juice
- 4 whole (1 1/2 Inch Wide) Salmon Fillets
- Note you will also need aluminum foil for this recipe.
- Preheat your grill on medium heat
- In a small bowl mix together: shallot, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, mirin, molasses and lime juice.
- Place each piece of salmon on a separate doubled sheet of tin foil (or one heavy duty piece), Pour the mixture over each salmon fillet.
- Close each sheet of tin foil to create individual packets.
- Place them on the hot grill.
- Close the lid of the grill and let it cook for 20 minutes
- Once cooked plate your salmon and garnish with green onions.
- Serve with rice and greens of your choice.
